The file shredder completely overwrites files with random characters making them unrecoverable by undelete or un-erase utilities giving you confidence that once deleted, your file data is gone forever making the future retrieval of the file next to impossible. The shredder securely destroys (shreds) sensitive and private files beyond recovery.
Security Level: Security level indicates the severity of the Shredding process. It indicates the how many times it will overwrite file before shredding the file. Higher the level the severity of the shredding will be higher. 50 is normal, 110 is Highest and 10 is Lowest.
Note: LOW the Security Level, faster is the shredding process.
Folder Shredder:
You can even specify a folder, in which all the files will be shred after a fixed amount of time set by you.
Click on "Browse" to select folder to be shred and click on "Clear" to remove selected choice of folder to be shred.
File Shred:
Files can be added to the shred list by clicking on the "Browse" button. The files to be shredded are displayed under File List.
The list can be cleared with the "Clear" button.
The shredding process starts when you click on the "Delete Selected Items" button.
